Many people benefit from financial advice when they’re experiencing life changes. Buying a home, starting a family, receiving a DVA offer, planning for retirement, or wanting to grow wealth with confidence. If you’re unsure where to start or want clarity around your options, speaking with an adviser can help you make informed decisions.

Are You Independent Financial Advisers?

We operate under a transparent, client‑first advice model. While “independent” has a specific legal definition in Australia, our recommendations are always based on what is in your best interests. We do not accept commissions on investment products, and our advice is tailored solely to your goals and circumstances.

Financial Planning & Investment FAQs

What does a Financial Plan for a Young Family look like?

At Apex Financial Advice, we will help you secure your future and that of your children by:

  • Creating a realistic budget to help you save money and increase wealth.
  • Putting plans in place to help you to pay down your home loan, buy an investment property, save for your children’s education or build wealth.
  • Helping you find the right insurance to protect your family in the event of an emergency.
  • Investing to grow your money over time and reach your financial goals.
How can a Retirement Financial Plan help me?

A retirement plan will help you make informed decisions about your financial future when transitioning from employment into retirement. It will provide tailored retirement financial advice that covers superannuation management, income stream structuring, investment strategy, and tax-efficient withdrawal options. Our experienced advisers will help in ensuring your money lasts and supports your desired lifestyle. Ongoing reviews and adjustments ensure your financial planning remains aligned with changing market conditions and personal goals. Early planning is important, so call Apex Financial Advice a few years before you intend to retire so we can take advantage of available strategies.

How Long Does It Take to Receive My Financial Plan?

Most clients receive their Statement of Advice within 4-5 weeks of their Initial Consultation provided documents and information are returned promptly. We will always keep you updated throughout the process.

Do You Provide Tax Advice?

We provide general tax guidance as part of your financial plan. For specialised or complex tax matters, we may collaborate with your accountant or refer you to a trusted tax professional to ensure you receive accurate, compliant advice. We are not accountants and therefore cannot help you with your tax return.

Can You Help with Superannuation Consolidation?

Yes. We can review your existing super funds, compare fees and performance, and help you consolidate accounts where appropriate. This can reduce unnecessary fees and simplify your retirement planning.

Do You Provide Investment Advice?

Yes. We create personalised investment strategies based on your goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Our focus is on long‑term, sustainable wealth creation rather than short‑term speculation.

How Often Will We Review My Financial Plan?

If you choose ongoing service, we meet with you annually to review your progress, update your strategy, and adjust to any changes in your life or the market. You can also contact us anytime throughout the year for support.

We encourage open conversation throughout the session, so you feel confident, informed, and comfortable asking any questions along the way.

  1. implementation and review – ongoing service

We may offer ongoing service to clients where we believe it will deliver genuine long-term value, there’s absolutely no obligation to proceed. Should you choose to continue, you’ll have access to year-round support for all your financial matters, ensuring you’re never navigating important decisions alone.
